View Full Version : a good spoiler

I'm tryin to make my final decisions of what to do with my celica so when I can get it accomplished its strait forward, so everythings ready but the spoiler. What is a good spoiler besides the stock one? I wunna go with something a bit different than that. I've been thinkin of somethin like an eclipse spoiler so its a little bit up there but not too much. Anyone have suggestions?

i am against mixing parts from different car manufacturers. honestly, the spoiler-almost-over-the-roof-of-your-car look is faded. stick with something small that flows with the car. in my opinion the stock gt or even a gt-s spoiler will look perfect.

and you don't always need a spoiler; not a lot of people go that route and it may be one you want to go with. i don't like any aftermarket spoilers for this car, and the eclipse one will be way too narrow on your car because it is made to fit on the trunk deck, not the whole rear end.

I dont either, but It would have been more like that style than just having an eclipse spoiler. I like the stock spoiler, but its quite a bit low and I do want one. And I wasnt going for a particular look to seem cool lol I just wanted somethin that would flow with the car but a little more noticeable than the factory one. I'm thinkin of just gettin the factory one but was wanting to see if there were anymore options

I actually liked the idea of an Eclipse spoiler. I thought about doing this when I first got my AT. I always was a fan of the Supra though... :hehe:

the supra is just too high for my tastes

If you could get it to work I'd say go with a stock 6th gen hatch spoiler. They've got a little more rise to them than the stock 5th gen 3 piece and since the two gens aren't all that dissimilar it probably would flow pretty well.

i would say no spoiler at all, are cars look good even without a wing.

I like the stock 3pc spoiler that comes on the hatch models.

how about mine??? ;)

or the gt4 spoiler. Might be alittle too high though.

Theres a fifth gen around here that has the sixth generation spoiler on it. I think it looks really good.

I like the 3 piece set up, I would just like if it were a little higher than it is. I'm not sure if a supra style spoiler would look quite right on it

Just curious on the 5th gen. I have a 90 Celica GT. It has no spoiler on the back. Was it removed when the car was worked on and fixed or could you get one without a spoiler? I'm thinking of maybe putting an original one on if I find one at the pick-n-pull.

If you are looking for a supra style, this is the only one I have seen for the 5th gen that looks good.

I have been thinking a ducktail spoiler might look good on the 5th gen.

oh wow that one does look nice, it lift with the hatch? Can't tell for certain, how much does that one run?

Here/ I think the prices on in euros.

Yes, the hatch still lifts, you can see in this pic.

Here are some other spoilers.

A type of ductail spoiler. This might be made to look good. Not too keen on this ps.

Here is one I like, but on an mr2.

Some other concepts.
