View Full Version : Sea Foam Question/Confirmation

So I did the Sea Foam thing. Definitely got lots of junk out of the system, if the smoke is any indication. However, I wasn't expecting to see smoke from the exhaust manifold area and manifold-to-front down pipe area. May I assume that indicates exhaust leaks (e.g., blown gaskets)? This on my 88 Celica GTS.

Did the same to my 99 Camry. Got lots of smoke from the tailpipe, but none from the engine bay.

Also, I've got new plugs for both, since I've heard the SF cleaning process pretty much screws the plugs. Since I also put a can of SF in the gas tank, do I need to wait to go through the tank of gas or can I change the plugs now since I've run each car for about 15 miles and all smoke stopped billowing out the tailpipe.

about your changing your plug the smoke stopped.... so i would say its ok....
