View Full Version : 7th gen seat into 4th gen GTS - Can I?

Okay, I give up trying to find decent replacements for my leather GTS seats.

I've got an opportunity to get near perfect leather GTS seats from a 7th gen (2000). No cracks or splits, just need a good dose of conditioner. I need to jump on'em quick if I'm gonna get'em.

1) What mods do I have to do to make them fit my 88 GTS?
2) Is $250 for the pair a decent enough price?
3) Any chance in hell the back seats would swap over, too?

250 is a good deal, i would jump on them, and yes they would fit, with some modifications, bending the front mount holes to match your car and drill some new holes in the back, back 7 years i got a set of for free from some salvage yard, and yes the 7th gens just came out those seats for going for 500-700 dollars, i put them in my 1990 integra, i just bented the seats mounts and they matched up and drilled new ones in the back, they worked fine for years later took them out and sold them for 375. for the back i have no idea. they would look good in any car. good luck

Am I drilling new holes in the 7th gen seat racks or the floor of my 4th gen GTS? Thanks.

the back is kinda of hard to match up so i drilled one hole in the floor of the car and bolted it down, thats the only way i knew to get the back in, if anybody knows better way if they could help that would be good. let me know if you need more help, the front was easy.

On the 5th gens 3 of the 4 holes line up. Sorry don't know about the 4th gen though.
