Future/concept cars from toyota...shows a lot of what people have been proposing as the new supra. Turns out they are different vehicles. All the different ones are on the left hand of the screen.

This is old news. I hate hybrid performance cars, those batters don't last forever and are expensive as hell to get replaced. I'll stick with conventional performance.

i actually hadn't heard about the modern ae86 thing. if that actually happens, and at the price mentioned. i will actually buy one new. i've never had money for a new car, but by then i should be graduated and working...and if it's that cheap. i'm all over that.

pleeeeease toyota. do it. please!!!

Yep, you're not the only one. Toyota would sell a TON of these cars if that article were correct.

As for the AE86 type car, I actually like the way that car looks. If it were in the vicinity of $12,000 I would be buying my first new car.

An upgrade package with a 2AZ-FE type HP & TQ output at around $14,500 would absolutely seal the deal.

The problem is fat ass americans and their love for fancy bullshit in cars will make it weigh a ton, also with the added safety and emissions it will cause the price to go up considerably, to the tune of around $16,000 starting base model.

The lovely benefit is if they did build it around the 2AZ-FE platform that would mean... supercharger time!!!

AFAIK 200hp, 195 ft/lbs. with the SC on the Scion?
Picture that in RWD drifting madness. I would like one.
