damn PC, that does suck. There's a new automotive protectant on the market that adds a film to cars to keep them protected. Maybe you can put that stuff on when you have time (or when it's not absolutely freezing) to protect the car for the rest of the winter. I'll look up the product name.

try this, http://shop.meguiars.co.uk/cgi-bin/catalog.pl?cat=BODY_PAINT#2 and look at the medallion product.

i would maintain it with this - http://shop.meguiars.co.uk/cgi-bin/catalog.pl?cat=ENT_POLISH#3 gold class paste wax.

then perhaps cleaner wax every month which removes oxidisation whilst renovating and waxing leaving a protected long lasting shine.

A glaze type protectant covering will make it difficult to maintain the paintwork and it sounds as if it will needs high maintenance, the protectant glazes are not for use in a heavy maintanance secnario.

Of course as previously mentioned, you could use a car cover, but you want people to see your car - right - and you wanna smile as you walk back to it after a hard days work, if your car shines - you do too, and people notice that.

get the elbow into overdrive.

I am using those products, on a slightly less regular basis and find the results excellent, ideal for your situation. I park opposite a Bodyshop and i regularly get bondo dust settle on my car and probably a bit of overspray. using the clay bar monthly, it keeps its glaze, a clay bar may just fill up too quick with particles imho.

best of luck bro.
