Yes.. well, kind of.. I did ship a car but the buyer arranged it, so unfortunately I don't have any useful info. I don't even remember what the company was named that picked it up :(

lol, any local car towing service must have a shipping service that they offer to arrange this kind of stuff. Have you tried the yellow pages? ........online?

I did. I contacted DAS and they wanted $750. I was kinda looking for other companies to compare that cost and maybe find something lower.

I dunno about a car specifically. I would check with any train stations around your area they might be able to help you or point you in the direction of who can. Train Freight will most likely be the cheapest way to get it shipped.

I know you can also use greyhound to ship large packages, it's how my friend got his skyline seats. But I think a car is too big for them.

But why would you need to ship a car ??

I suspect she is gonna send her `vert out to Luni and Borinal for a swap.

Just a hunch.

Just wanted to be an asshat and say....General Discussion?

My impression has been that there are companies that deal with this type of delivery specifically so I vote yellow pages.

Burnyd,

How was your experience with them? I'm debating which one I'm going to ship and which one I'm going to trailer. I'm thinking I'll probably trailer my vert and ship the GTS in case they scratch or ding it. That way I don't have to buy their shipping insurance. GTS needs painted anyway.
