sorry for the ignorance but how exactly are the coupes tail lights on the 6th gen different on the coupe from the hatch? It's too bad I can't find any kind of custom tail lights for my 5th gen

wow 500 dollars pretty expensive, not everyones taste but does not look bad. depends on how you mod your car to make them look good.

The ones on the hatch line up vertically like so (56k warning on link)

The ones on the coupe line up horizontally. Plus the top of the corners is more accentuated on the hatch therefore the quarter panel wouldn't line up.

Just notice how the fronts of each of the lights don't line up with each other.

I wish I could get different tail lights though. They're hard to find for the coupes and if you do find something, they're rewankulously expensive.

yeah, I want custom tail lights for my car, which is why I'm gonna mold some in custom like lol also want to make some custom headlights for it too. Right now though I want to paint the outline of the tail lights black and thinkin about tinting the lenses

Those are pretty cool, but pretty spendy.

I'd rather go with the jdm look at save a few pennies, the curren tails look super good on the 6th gen coupe.

wouldn't it look similar if you painted the tails and left the circles (granted they wouldn't be clear)? And for a lot less

but see geebes if you did that you wouldnt have the cool 3D effect and LED lenses. I dont understand why it has to be $500 though

I'd rock those currens, but as it stands with... other situations in life at the moment, just ain't gonna shell out 210 for that guys. I'm gonna hafta find a better paying gig.

those have been around for a couple of years, and are HIDEOUS tail lights that are over priced

It just like people with mr2 who get the 93+ Tails, i hear they get in upwards of 4-500 dollars for a set. If you like them that much, price wont matter.

^ True that...double true! Kinda like when I was willing to shell out $150 bucks for clear corners....i'm glad I didn't though...yay downtown toyota!

not really..
since the USDM tails are different from the JDM tails on the 6th gen celicas
it would be more like the MR2 guys who bump to 93+, if he went from oem tails to JDM tails...JDM tails are probably 1/2 the price of those nasty things and look much better
going from OEM to those is like umm...OEM to Altezzas on a civic hatch but instead of paying $100 on ebay for the ugly stuff ur paying $500

 "JDM" anything is expensive. It's still the same concept. ;)
