Got some more done today. Got the engine out. Cleaned the engine bay, and started prepping the sivertop. Here are some pics.

Im jealous...

How's the wiring?

Well the wiring was almost done before the engine got here. I ordered a complete blacktop setup. it will be running the blacktop ecu which is map and has a more aggressive tune. I would send a pic of the harness I made but its just wires. lol. not to hard. The basic Idea is to run the blacktop ecu kinda like a stand alone with is own harness.

as far as everything else it went smooth. I wish I could upload more pics but the site says Im at my limit.

Nice, so how hard was it? In your pictures, it went from out side the car, to in and it was complete! Haha Looks good.

Nice work. Looks like the swap was done properly and your wiring is not a mess like others I've seen.

I dont like that bra though. The car looks much cleaner without it.

I would get velocity stacks for the ITBs, it would sound so much better. Not that it will sound bad now, but open ITBs is the sex.

Sorry guys I havent wrote a follow up because Ive been on vacation. I finally got everything finished. I had to custom make a down pipe. it runs great! I really have to say that when I started this everybody was saying to get the clip, but I didnt have any trouble. You will be ok if you get the engine complete with wires ecu and sensors. As far as a detailed write up I am going to make a web page with all pictures and diagrams. I have to say that the silvertop with the blacktop ecu is fast! the mid and top end are endless. It kinda scares me how fast it accelerates over 100 mph. I buried my 120 speedo and it still had plenty to go, but my nerves didnt. lol. anyway Ill go out and get some pictures of the final comlete car and post them.

Just an update. Its been a long time sence I last posted. The swap is still working great. No issues. Great gas milage. And I drive it everyday no problems. There is alot more work coming to the car this year. The brakes will be 4 wheel discs and I may lower it an inch. I just love the 20v and will never sell this car. Just wanted to add my 2 cents to the debates on which swaps should be done. As for the torque issue, it isnt as bad as people make it out to be. Once you get to 4000 rpm the car is a rocket. I also believe a nice shot of nitrous would help that alot, its in the works for my car also.

A simple turbo running 5psi would also help the power. I really love mine as well and will probably never sell the car. I have been contemplating getting a 6th gen and swapping everything over to it. GLad yours is holding up as well.

My only problem was power steering pumps breaking on me.

I've been reading on Club4ag and they have talked of the 20v running around the mid 12's to mid 13's when getting hit with a 50 shot of nitrous. that of course depending on what kinda of mods you have. Looking to run 75mm velocity stacks, and try to have jets on all 4 itbs.
