HAH.

You would think that since this person knows enough about cars to modify one, that he would also know a thing or two about selling one.

Doesn't he realize he's pretty much screwed himself to the general buying public by modifying his car? Has he ever heard of a bluebook?

What I find funny about the car itself is the CF hood. If you look, it's got something like a stock scoop... but before the scoop is a huge VENT.

Yeah, that's smart. Let's vent hot engine air from the engine compartment... and then ram it back in there for good measure.

Brilliant.

i dont believe in making fun of anyone's car. He feels it is worth that and he'll find soemone who wants it. There are not too many people turboing their 7th gens to the extent that guy has. He clearly feels it is worth it.

To each their own.

Its a good looking car, but i dont like the big Tach. I dont understand why people get those, are the stocks not good enough?

EDIT- Also WTF 1000 dollars to install/buy a boost controller that gives 100 hp more?!

The stock tach might not work with the standalone, I know some standalones cannot output rpm properly to some Toyota tachs. As for the $1000 price tag for the boost controller, that may be including the cost to re-tune the car for the boost controller. And $10/horsepower is not a bad deal =P

100hp by just using a boost controller? since when.... it doesn't say anything about tuning the car..

It sounds like he had a shop do all the work. The shop probably quoted him $1,000 for a boost controller+labor+dyno tuning costs.

The stock tach works great with the Power FC. I used to have one on my car.

Looks like he has the Hass turbo kit. That kit costs about $6k.
