View Full Version : Actually sold it this time

Well long story short I finally sold the car.
I was asking $5000, and I got $4500 for it.
I was honest with the guy about all the problems the car had, so hopefully he enjoys it, and doesn't have any big problems. It really hurt to see it go, but it was time.
I won't be on the forum much anymore I don't imagine.
See you guys.

I was going to and then I looked at the Trans AM headlights and I said to myself "it doesn't matter what headlights are on that car because everything about it is fucking gay."
So I just decided to keep my headlights whatever way I wanted to. OHH and btw the I could control the headlights to go to any position I wanted with a simple momentary switch. I guess if you tried that on an american car it would probably blow up or something.

dud you sold that 5th gen gts for 4500 lol? You must be a hell of a swindler.

06-12-2007, 10:35 PM
it was well worth the price he was asking, and most 5th gen celicas go for about that in worse condition with higher kms on them here in ontario. Keep in mind thats canadian funds too.

And as we all know, the beloved Eastern Provinces love to use salt in the winters so a lot of the cars are nice and rusted up as well :(

06-12-2007, 11:03 PM
Is that in Canadian?

06-12-2007, 11:32 PM
Obviously Canadian, eh.

You'd be hard-pressed to get that much for that car in USD.

06-13-2007, 12:39 AM
Yes it was in Canadian funds.
On autotrader.ca the last couple weeks had quite a few Celica's FS, beside the Alltrac's which would obviously be more money, there wasn't one nicer Celica than mine. There were quite a few asking for more money as well. The ones that were asking for more money had bodykits on them, and I have yet to see a Canadian celica with a bodykit on it that actually looks good. So I would say it was definately worth it. You'd have to see the car in person to appreciate the paint job.
I'm just happy I've sold it.
