Ahhhh gotta love competition...I produce Starlet - 4ag mounts and have been doing so since 2004:

Then I get word a company in California is making them...Techno Toy Tuning

Which produces this:

I guess I should be flattered? At least they can't copy my welds. :hehe:

someone is always going to copy anothers idea or invention. thats just how the world works. then its not really a matter of who had what first but who makes the better product.

Id rather buy your products because your a better person Conrad and we like you more. :)

But yeah.

its actually who sells their ass better. Numerous times a higher quality product will die due to lack of advertising or the competition being able to sell a semi competitive product for a substantial price cut

Sue them! I hope you patented your mounts...

TRD used to make conversion mounts back in the 80's, but I have yet to ever see an original made by TRD. The Starlet community isn't large enough to warrent getting a patent put on an idea...it would nullify all the returns.

Either way I have 90% of the new design completed and it'll take less labor to build (ie: only 1" of total weld and only 1/2 pieces) which will allow me to sell it for less and have a better design. :D

Now if they copy my design again the car community will definately notice! :D
