ok as we all know there is a fair language barrier between the japanese and western cultures, and i take my hat off to them as a nation as being incredibly understanding towards our ignorance of other cultures and also their ability to learn the basics of our language and also our written text,
but,, having said that u do see a lot of 'engrish' and bless em for trying but sometimes they come out extremely funny, :)

on my door at the hotel, and u know waht i will go back and enjoy someday

it's all about the heating,,

haha,,, what a pisser,, shit me walking down the stairs in the middle of the night to have a piss but!

no girlfriend? fuck it, just have an OJ!

and now for my favourite!!

now anyone who knows me may know i can be somewhat irrisponsible, 5 mins after taking that pic me and the boys were carving down through the trees in a completely out of bounds area screaming YAHOOOO!!!, one day i'ts gonna end in tears hahah
it was worth it for my 5 mins of yahoo ;)

hey chris i thought those h2s were really expensive? u NEVER see them in australia, there was an old hummer cruising around near my place once, was like the talk of the town hehehe

actually thats what i was gonna tell u guys, when i was scooting around from pub to pub with wez and tina i met a couple of guys who are into cars and had a chat to em, they recon the sickest car out atm is teh forester GT sti, it's basically like our forester GT but with a full tuned sti engine, they are dropped on their guts and have semi race suspension standard, a bit more of a body kit, the next day i saw one in teh carpark, it looked nuts! was black, lower kit, bigger spoiler off the top of hte hatch, big bonnet scoop and sounded freakin awesome! so tahts what all the japs want atm, thought that was kinda cool :P

oh yeha and for everyone who was aslking me if i was gonna drop into the greddy factory and pick up a turbo, i did make one purchase for my car, high intesity led bulbs for my side lights hahahah

Not too bad really. I think they are ~$70k-80k canadian here. The H1 hummer is well over $100k. But yeah so many in these parts, see several every day, everyone thinks they need SUV's here :hehe:

Damn I almost got killed by an SUV the other day...was going over an icy bridge...it was in the other lane a little in front, then started to slide sideways....smoked the railing and flipped into my lane and nailed the meridian...I was DAMN close to smoking it but I managed to slow down as it slid right in front, then flipped to the rail again for one last bang. Wasn't driving the '4 though, so I wasn't too too worried...

Awsome pics keyroo! BTW here in america, every other suv on the road is a damn H2. i'm sick of seeing them everywhere. Yeah i remember the first time I saw a skyline in real life traffic, it was very exciting!

Keyroo, winter tires really do make a huge difference. I don't drive in the winter without them. I often wish that they would stop putting down salt on the roads and just mandate everyone to have winter tires instead. I'd rather deal with snow-packed roads than salty roads.

LOL not me personally, but yeah in Calgary there is a LOT of cash flowing around...we are a big oil city, everyone's getting rich off of the high oil prices. Except my company, which is on the verge of bankruptcy. :thumbsdow :ugh:

yeah everyone in japan has snow tyres, i noticed around kutchen ect they dont' salt the rds, just plough them but everyone has stacks of grip, i'd love to have a drive over there ;) they are nuts, road rules straight out he window, as our tour guide said, they are the nicest kindest ppl, but when they get behind the wheel they go nuts, i saw them driving on the footpath to overtake trucks ect (not that u can really define whats a footpath with the deep snow but still

gt4som, skylines are freakin everywhere here, i can't stand em, r33 gtst are so common, and r34s are starting to pop up now and again, bah,

sorry to hear about ur business chris, sounds like ur on the job hunt like me again,

I love skylines. I remember the first time I saw a Skyline when I first arrived in Australia. Everyone in my tour group thought I was overreacting. Then a few hours later I saw my first GT-R, then my first STi, then my first S15, then my first S13 Silvia K's, then my first R34, then my first Chaser, my first TVR (none of which were available in America at the time, and only the STi is now). The list just goes on...

As for trucks and SUVs, they are everywhere here. I go into a car lot and say I'm looking for a CAR, not a truck and the salesmen look at me like I'm nuts... At least 60% of the vehicles on the road here are truck based. And I've been hit by "four-wheel-drive" a couple times and believe me, the car comes out the worst for it. Both times my car was totaled, theirs needed a new bumper...

I personally don't like them at all. But what I hate is all the people who have them an NEVER use them for their intended purpose. 55 year old real estate agents who drive Chevy Suburbans (an SUV so big it won't fit in most Aussie parking spots) and never carry more than 1 other person in it. Then they come into my gas station and complain that we're killing them with our gas prices, even though we don't make any profit from gas whatsoever...

yeah mind u, my car aint the most fuel efficient these days :P
