Trying to see if there is much interest in having a run of Skid Plated fabbed up.
I have a friend who does great quality work from custom fab to full restorations so if there is enough interest ( hopefully at least 15 ) then I can talk to him about it. I'll probably be doing the preliminary measurements and fitting myself and then give him the form to fabricate.

Input is welcome. POST UP!

I'm definitely interested. I've lost my underbody plastic and need something to clean up the air under my car...

Keep in mind Joey, that this isn't a diffuser, its a skid plate setup and will be metal, and even aluminum in an effective thickness will be somewhat heavy. Let me know if you're still interested :)

Um... nevermind... I don't need protection... I need aero.

Joey, did you want me to pick you up some underbody plastics? I'm going to the wrecker in a day or so and it's not a problem.

As far as an underbody diffuser, I was thinking that the designs would be similar so fabbing up both wouldn't be a stretch :D

That would be great. I'm not too big on picking up the OEM underbody stuff, just doubt it's really all that clean.

16-18ga aluminum weighs next to nothing, it would take quite a beating from road debris but would work well for aeros with very little added weight. Although it's not exactly cheap either.

hmm....somewhat interested but have you thought about how you're going to ship something like that? The weight might not be killer if you make it out of thin enough material but the size of the box is going to murder shipping costs.

I'm done with this idea. everyone only wanted diffusers. THAT'S WHAT THE UNDERBODY PLASTICS ARE FOR .
