i was running 315cc injectors thats fine for like 8 psi and nothign more but then i started funning 13 psi and im addicted so i wanna be safe and get rc 550 cc injctors. will ones from a dsm work? all i would have to do is get the right harness or hard wire them in.
i popped the ct26 i had and now working on a t3 install.
new setup workin on it
old setup

The 3rd gen 3SGTE that came stock with 550cc injectors that will work for your application. Mina is selling his soon since he's upgrading, so you should try to get his. I believe he has a post up somewhere around here, shoot him a pm.

Nice looking setup by the way :)

i was told 3sgte injectors were side fed? i need top fed. if they are ill def snag them up.

I am almost positive that the 3rd gen injector are side-feed also.

DSM injectors should work fine.

you need resistor packs

Oh, I thought you still had a side feed rail. The 3rd gen 550's are side feed. The DSM injectors will work.

once again :"you need resistor packs"

unless you want to eventually fry your injector coils

2nd gen Rx-7 turbo injectors are 550cc and they are high impedence.

This is from alltrac.net:

OE Spec :
440cc/min NipponDenso Top Feed, identical to 87-88 Supra Turbo

Upgrade :
NipponDenso 550cc (RX7 Turbo, high imp, drop in) #195500-2020

i'd get the ST-165 ones or the supra turbo ones... at 440cc/min

550s is too much unless you move up to a T3/T4.

Oh and how's that custom manifold holding up... those runners are tiny :/

That manifold looks like it has a horrible design...

its just a JGStools log manifold. also the 7mgte 440cc injectors ill need resisters i know. but i can buy 440cc or w/e from Rc and i wont need a resistor pack. Also if i get the 440cc 7mgte one how would i go about lowering the ohms? i mean a pack.. but how do i determine the right resistor i need? is there an equation for this?

you can get a resistor pack from almost ANY automotive dealer or junkyard. They almost always look the same... you just have to get a pack which you can figure out the wiring on that's all ...

here's a good writeup

You're right though you can get new injectors from RC. That of course is the cleaner way of doing it , so if you have hte money go for it.

so basicly i find a car that has the same ohm injectors as the 7mgte supra and get its resistor pack?

sorry to bring this back up. But i found sum honda RC injectors wicked cheap on ebay. high ohms 13.8, top feed. but for a honda. will they fit? its ok if you wanna slap me. i already googled it. but maybe im just not internet smart.

should be ok, when in doubt call RC
