i have a 94 celica st hatchback the engine has lost power. it starts up just fine but if i try to press the gas it starts to shake and tries to turn off. now i do want to give it a engine overhaul. but i just want to know what cause the loss of power to the engine. one more thing when i press on the gas it really does not go past 3000 rpms. please someone let me know what it might be.

I am moving your post over to the repair forum. I also deleted the reply to your thread. It was from a troll from an SVT performance forum. He has been banned now. Sorry about that.

Could Be Ur Air Flow Sensor Bad Or Fuel Filter But It Sounds Like The Motors Not Getting Enough Air

Fuel Filter
Air senser
o2 Senser
