So...many may recall how the passenger side trailing arm fell off of the 1972 I own.

Body shop in town wants $300 to repair that one side. This guy never returned my calls, so I called a different shop in town. This new guy told me that he doesn't do rust repair anymore. He then gave me the number of a machine shop for whom he refers people to when they call him.

Gravelton Machine Shop in Nappanee, IN is doing both sides of cancerous rust repair on my 1972 for $300.

That's about $1,500 in work at the original shop for the same price as the smaller job.

You can. Bring it out here. There's a guy that works at the local Honda dealership where i work on my cars that worked doing body work on tractor trailers for years that i get real good prices from.

Such as.... $100 to fix all my rust and dents in the GT. Well.... $100 and some beer. It's not hardcore show quality work for that price, but the rust will definitely be gone, and it will be matched well.

Next time i go to visit the GT, i'll try to post some pics of what it came out like.

When i'm working again, he's also going to respray the car Honda Championship White.

How far is that place from dayton ohio? There is a guy local who does most my body work in his garage. Rust repair is very hard to repair though. You can sand the shit out of it and paint it, but if it gets really moist again it will show.

True, I sanded my little rust spots to bare metal, then primered and painted only to have them show up a year and a half later. :(
