After the snow and salt, I've found that I've got some pitting and oxidation on my clear coated aluminum alloy rims.
What's the best stuff you guys recommend to get rid of it?

If you have pitting, it is the rims not the clear coat.

defo, aluminium corrodes, not laquer.

i suggest having the wheels rubbed down with wet and dry then polished with fine emery cloth with lots of water. when your happy, give then a good several clear coats of good laquer, leaving to dry for the correct periods between coats.

you can clean and clean the corrosion away but it isnt protecting and isnt a long term solution.

if that corrosion gets under the main coat, you'll end up with bubbled alloys and lifting/delamination of the main coat. that is assuming it aint bare alloy and has been sprayed.
