i dunno--i was just surfing for some stuff and i came across the bomz website, and their front page just bluntly says "bomz is giving away free..." and i was like :wtf:

anyways...free or not, i don't know much about Bomz, but how are they quality wise...? i've heard the name a lot, but i dunno...from checking out their site, a lot of their parts/add-ons seem pretty cheap lol. like "too" cheap to be of any good quality, anybody know more about them?

Those do seem rather cheap. I like the office racing seats.

I sent an e-mail to them so we'll see if I end up with a free intake or not. :D would be pretty nice.

It might be one of those deals if you let them use your car to design the intake on they give you a free one or it's just bs

or rock some stickers lol. They've been an ebay company forever now I'm sure they don't need R&D. They could be going out of business and trying to make materials costs back by overcharging S&H for "Free" intakes.

I stand corrected, here is the e-mail they sent me back.

Dear customer:

For getting a free intake system, you must need to qualify the following
requirements:

1. We must not have the installation instruction for your car model.

2. We must have the intake in stock.

3. You need to pay for the total amount first which include the product
cost and the shipping and handling fee,.

4. After you receive the intake system, you need to make a step-by-step
installation guide with the pictures by using the computer word
document and send it back to us ASAP.

5. As soon as we receive the step-by-step installation instruction, we
are going to let you sign a paper that states that you're going to
give us the permission for using your instruciton as ours, then we
will give you the refund for the product cost (but you still need
to pay for the shipping and handling fees, and it depends on the
location of the shipping address).

Also please answer the following questions in your reply email:
1. What year is your car?
2. What kind of car you have?
3. What engine it has?

If you have any other question, please feel free to email us again.

Lol what a scam, why didn't they just take all of the install pictures when they designed the prototype? They'll probly end up telling you that it's not to the proper quality and your boned for the initial costs.

Yep, they probably try to rape you on the price too.

And just in case you are wondering, no you cannot get one for 6th gen or earlier as they do not have them and this "deal" is for one that is "in stock".

umm...nothing in life has free havent you learned?....

Quite contrary, theres lots of genuinely free things in terms of currency exchange. Intellectual property is another thing.
