I need a shipping quote on the 5sfe but they need the weight of the engine. Anybody know or know where to look to find this information?

Thanx in advance

this was covered a long time ago, I believe the beast is ballpark of 450 but don't quote me.. like I said it was a WILE ago. Why don't you get the seller of the engine to weigh it for you?

^^ thats too much.. that might be how much a cast iron 3sgte weights. Your KA motor might weigh around that 500lb mark

Because I am the seller. hahahaha

I messaged another seller on ebay and they say quoted me @ 300lbs w/o tranny or gearbox.

^.^ you wish.

VG30DETT weighs close to 500. KA's are a little over 300.

So I retract my previous statement, charge him for 350lbs and it's a done deal

When you take it to ship it to me the courier should be able to weight the pallet there.

Simple, just hold the engine and stand on a scale and subtract your weight :hehe:

haha try to get your hands on a meat scale, they usually go upto 1,000 lbs, put it on the cherry picker and lift the engine. It's how they weigh sides of beef.
