I just saw this the other day. Does anyone have this on their celica, and if so post pics please. (especially for 5th gens).

Got one for the spyder, but the garnish and top of the antenna thread was damaged by the original owner, and since the thread section on the S2k antenna is so darn short, it won't fit. Boo.

Never did it on the 5th or 6th gens but the PO of my 7th gen did, and here's what it looks like. Kind of a wide angle because I wasn't taking a pic of just that.

yeah ive seen it done to coupes a few times. someone around my way has it and an invader wing but he curls it back and tucks it under the wing, I want to reach out my window and straighten it every time I look at it. Drives me nuts!

someone on spyderchat used to alter them to fit perfectly. Id go ask on there if anyone has one for sale.

Ah, well I assumed, it may not be damaged, may just be that the threaded section isn't long enough. Probably have to do something to the garnish or add thread. Meh.. too much trouble ;)

Those plates are inactive and no longer on the car. Hence why I don't care much. But thanks for the concern :bigthumbu

Wouldn't be worth the shipping. They're like.. less than $30 from a honda dealership.

Actually, what I need first is a base it will fit into. I can find the dang anttenas all day long on eBay but no bases and I have yet to find a car in junkyard with a useable base.
