Went and picked up me new hood the other day- about a 400mile total trip!
Anyway, it has some oxidation in a few spots and some small scratches. I swear, I wish I knew as much about body work as I do fabrication. So I want to know from some of you experienced body guys how to go about making look better, at the least. I also noticed th gray is a slightly different color(see right headlight area)-you don't suppose it might have been a little different in Japan do you?

i think the paint on the hood is just more faded than the paint on your celica- hence the different shade

and your vents are on backwards

Turn those vents around fool! Other than that, the hood actually looks pretty decent.

Clay bar it. Buff it all back out, do the whole car and it should look sharp.
