Just curious as to what the 'normal' operating temp is on your 3sgte (that is if you have an after market gauge)

She's running now :) finally..but more bugs to work out and not good enough to have on video yet, and i'm kicking the idea of putting another auxillary fan in it.

180 - 215* F
The 215 was in the hotass NC summers.
When temps are reasonable, it stays below 200*F.

That is water elbow temp BTW.
Temp obviously differs depending on where you monitor it from.

Yeah exactly, thanks a bunch. I've got the sensor hooked up in the water neck where everybody puts it.

Had me a little worried when it was creeping above 195..thought i'd ask!

those engines run hot as fack! get a 160* thermostat if you live in the southern states that dont see snow much. Since I live in Florida Im thinking of just driling mine full of holes and puting it in there.

Yep, well..good news is it runs pretty good, spools hard...

Bad news is i gotta put a manifold gasket on it...fun times this week.
