This will be a Celica write up to end all writeups

The Toyota Celica name has been applied to a series of popular sports cars made by the Japanese company Toyota. The name is derived from the Latin word cÚlico (IPA ['θeliko]) meaning "from the heavens" or "celestial".

Lets start with:

First generation (1970-1977)

The first generation Celica was released to the market in 1970. Allegedly a "cut-down" version of Toyota's supercar, the 2000GT, the Celica was a relatively affordable sports car.

Japanese models were ET, LT, ST, GT, and GTV

For export markets the models were LT, ST and GT.

Seventh generation (2000-2006)

In 2000, Toyota began production and sales of the seventh generation Celica. It closely resembled the XYR concept with the exception of the front bumper and rear spoiler. The 2000 Celica was an element of Toyota Project Genesis, an effort to bring younger buyers to the marque in the United States.

Snake, just subscribe to this thread and edit the first post. There is no point to keep you "working" Posts.

I did that because Im going to split the Gens in a per post section. Plus there might be max charater limits I dont know about so I just want to have the first 10 or so posts just for safety. I will ask the admins/mods to delete the unused posts after im done.

Not a bad start 2k. I don't think theres a limit on characters per post. Why not make a table of context at the top with a link that can jump you to the spot on the page? I forget what there called but I know it's an html code.

not a bad idea, I dont know how to incorporate it into part of the post but I do know how to make something like this.
