fuckin sweet man! i love those cars. i know where two 89 corolla gts's are right now. they both run good, look good, and he only wants 1'000 bucks for both. i would buy them if i didn't already have enough project cars going. congrats.

I love those cars. There is a racing team in Calgary (GTS Racing) and they all use this car. Very successfully too.

who knows. i had a bad oil leak when i went to test drive sunday and im hoping it was just my oil pan and not the brand new rear main i put in. this saturday night were going down to the boats in MS for my bros last single weekend, i might give you a call if i go through mobile and ride with them.

Is the clutch slipping? If so I would lean towards the rear main. If not, it would be more inclined to think it is the oil pan.

Closely to topic, I found an `88 `Rolla GT-S for $800 in the paper this evening. I am trying to talk a friend into buying it if I can get the dude down to $500.

Off topic, I need to pull the engine in my GT to replace the rear main. Before the Dragon Meet.

andy is too busy to do any work right now.... when are you leaving for panama? next weekend is the wedding so i will be in mobile for that too.
the trans is awesome, no more grinds, i also shortened my shifter about 2 inches, no more bucking either with the new mounts on, and just a little more vibration.

i used black gasket maker the first time and put it in the wrong place on the back of the oil pan (under the rear main seal)i had it on the inside line instead of on the outside line. got it going again today and used some blue gasket maker so far no leaks. as for the clutch slipping i couldnt tell you. i just upgraded for a worn out stock aisin to a southbend feramic ss cryo treated. so the difference is night and day, weather there is oil on it or not i couldnt tell you. but i can tell you i have sleepy eyes now.

nice find, hatchbacks are hard to find around these parts, they tend to sell quickly for around 4k. coupes are a dime a dozen though.
