The first one is the power steering air control valve, not sure what the other two are but they do look like they should go together. Trace the ends out and let us know where they go and we might be of more help.

the sensors connect and they are zip tied to the speed sensor on the tranny wha is it for?!?

andy

those other 2 are the speed sensor plugs, One should go to the tranny and the other back into the harness. You should plug those together. If you have cruise and it doesnt work, thats probley why. They also operate the speed cut. If equipped.

na dont have a speed cut but the problem is my car isnt gettin gas and after puggin that in i realized it isnt helpin ,me not sure what the problem is but i cant seem to find anything wrong

o2 sensors maybe? the third pic looks like the o2 end......................and your not getting any fuel to the mototr?

Have you checked the fuel pressure regulator yet?

dipsetpimp713
03-02-2007, 12:53 AM
how do i check it i mean it looks fine i have 2 of each part under the hood i would replace w.e is wrong if i could only find out wha it is also when i try checkin engine codes the cel keeps blinkin so yea thas not helpin me any but the car wont stay on unless im sprayin startig fluid into it

w/e it is it wuz workin fine when i removed the motor so im not sure what to look for

mass air flow sensor.....should be somwhere along the air filter to throttle body....plug it in

i dont think thats the problem i wuz runnin the car kjus fine without it hooked up using a cold air intake

No.
These Celicas don't have a MAF.

What year is your Celica?

You said your CEL is blinking steady?

Is EVERYTHING connected?

Double check ALL your wires.
Where they connect at the ECU and chassis harness.
Fuel line hooked up?
It's not kinked, is it?

1st one - idle up vacuum control for the power steering
2nd one -[S1] speed sensor for cruise control
3rd is [C6] the factory harness connection for the solenoid valves on a factory vacuum cruise control. Look at the BGB for the wire colors and see if it matches wiring diagram look at pg 174 - 177 of the electrical BGB.
It would also help to know where they're located in the engine compartment. it helps with the identification

everything is connected but my car is a 92 but i believe my engine is from a 95 my engine has 2 o2 sensors and i dont have that hooked up actually the headers and cat are only on for the exhaust at this point but my stock cat wuz gettin kinda bad so i put the other 1 on and this 1 doesnt have a o2 sensor on the cat so that not hooked up and the one comin out the headers is 1 wire and doesnt clip so yea no connected o2 sensor does any1 kno what the 1st wire on the tps sensor controls?!?

la elle

im not saying that it wont run without o2 sensors but it would run like crap....o2 sensors tell the computer how to mix the air and gas

does any1 know what this is for and where it goes?!? it down by the shock assembly under the driver side of the carits directly under the canister and fuel filter this is also not connected if sum1 has a picture of the back of their intake mani with everything hooked up it might b of some help also thanx

DPPimp, could you type in regular English please? :P

That line in the pic is for the EVAP system. The vaccum line on the bottom of your charcoal canister goes to it. Has nothing to do with the engine running good or bad.
Absolutely nothing to do with the EGR.

What year engine is in your car? 95?
What ECU/wiring harness are you trying to control it with?
Was this same engine/ECU/wiring harness setup running in your car already?
Or have you just put it in?

Your engine will start just fine without the O2 sensors.
It will also run decent. Especially if you're using a 5th gen ECU. It doesn't care all that much if the O2 sensor is connected.
All that will happen is you will have a O2 sensor code, and you will use more gas.

The O2 sensor isn't even used at startup, cold running, and full throttle.

No it's not.
It's the wiring harness connector for the trans speed sensor. As already stated further up in this thread.

You can tell by looking at the pics where it is.
It's ziptied to the speedo cable.
Top right you can see the vaccum lines that go under the intake manifold.

So your running a 95 engine with a 95 ECU and wiring harness?
Did you already have it running in your car?
Or are you trying to get it running for the first time?

dipsetpimp713
03-04-2007, 06:25 AM

Ok, then you probably didn't reconnect something.
Are you SURE it's a 95 and not a later engine?

96^ have a crank sensor, and the engine won't start without it connected.

IIRC the only things the engine actually won't start without are the distributor, ignitor, coil [in your dist], and crank sensor. Fusebox too. And all ECU connectors.

Anything else and it should start. Won't necessarily run good, but it should at least start.

That or something/you broke......

by the way that tube that goes to the canister actually comes off the canister so where does it go to

its a vent for the charcoil canister, it just sucks in air from you fender well.
