View Full Version : Cleaned engine bay... w/ Pictures.

I decided to give my engine bay a nice scrub down -- and I choose to not use any engine cleaners (they are harsh!) So I just break out the pressure washer and start cleaning... I am mindful of all the sensitive areas, but the outcome is amazing! I just wash, dry and then use my favorite tire shine spray... I haven't cleaned it in probably 30k miles and my GT-S is going on 7 years soon... so I am surprised that it came out shiny!

Looks very nice. Thats something that I need to get around to doing to. Its probably gonna be a little bit tougher on 15 years of dirt and grime though.

I did mine when I had the motor out. That made a lot of difference. Some of the shit in there was a workout to get rid of. I wish I had some pictures. Looks good.

can anyone help me or point me to the right direction. i need help Step by Step if possible for a 3sgte swap. i have a 1986 celica gts 3sge and imma swap 3sgte into it. Anyone have anything to tell me please Email me @ AnonAmousAzn@hotmail.com or something please

looks good. now thats its clean its easier to keep clean. now everytime you wash your car just give the engine a once over and it will stay clean. This is what i do.

Nice result, i seriously need to do this to mine... what did you keep the pressure hose away from? also did you remove the battery before you pressure hosed it?? Id be scared of getting water into stuff i dont know...
