unfortunately not - :thumbsdow

that's why I concentrated more on appearance and just installed the regular bolt-ons in the engine bay...

thank you - my goal in modding was to keep it as clean as possible... After a few more months pass and I install the last few remaining parts, she'll be put into retirement in the garage and then I'll really get to play - only difference being, this time I'll finally have some hp to work with

Well atleast you got the more turbo friendly engine out of the two. Get that C2 kit.

I've thought about it often however even with f/i the car will only put down roughly 210hp @ 12psi. not worth it imo... I'd much prefer something with a 5.0L V10 and 500hp from the factory - :shush:

5L V10 with 500hp? wtf is that? sounds very ferrari/lambo since they thrive on low CI with alot of cylinders.

Also, that car looks amazing. If you do get another beater, I would highly suggest turning it into and AWD 3sgte 7th gen like Fensport did.

I beg to differ, do it right and that car can crank out 350 easy. Possibly 400. I'm not familair with that engine at all.

Right and easy don't usually seem to go together, especially with an open deck design.

it definitely can be done, I don't dispute that, however it's not easy and some would argue much more costly than the alternatives

:D

Very nice looking car. I will even go so far as to say the exterior is the best looking 7th gen i've ever seen. And there are a lot where i live :) Love the rims.

thanks alot bro - I actually purchased the rims from a fellow 7th gen show Celica used but with only like 10 miles on them (got a crzy deal and jumped on it)... I was heavily considering the Rays G-Games Wolf 77's in gunmetal but this was one of the best decisions I've made so far. I think it completes the look nicely

also you had all your carbonfiber down by topshop, i heard they are really good and expensive, arent they offer a carbon fiber dash for 1000 bucks only 10 aviable on you site, that would look killer in your ride. so you think they are worth the money?

yes I bought it completely stock in late '02... Thinking of how much I've put into the car makes my head hurt a little but I stopped counting @ $20K

... I try to do most of the installs myself. Things like the FG sub enclosure and speaker installs I've left to professionals

Topshop is by far the best company I have dealt with concerning CF molds/wrapping projects. They are expensive however the quality of their work is second to none and I highly recommend them... the CF dash is actually already in the process of being completed -

I love it! Very beautiful indeed, my type of car! I love clean!

Lots of money invested! My only criticism, perhaps the wheels are just a touch to big, 18's would've been plenty! They look a little too big IMHO. Thats just my personal opinion, I'm sure theres many out there.

I love it though, great work.

thank you for your opinion... I was initially planning on 18's actually however a deal on these came by and I couldn't say no considering the price and quality of the rims. They fit perfect with my TRD drop though so I don't regret my decision

I know what he was referring to. Just because the compression is lower doesn't mean it will hold the boost better.

Yea but it is more friendly to start with. You dont have to worry about lowering the compression.

very few things on my Celica have remained stock... the CF interior pieces are mostly wrapped in 2x2 twill CF from a company called Topshop which does very good work. A few things are full-replacement CF like the A-Pillars, door inserts, and headliner
