I was looking through the auto trader and someone had this as an engine code in a 91 MR-2. Is this an acctual engine..."a six cylinder maybe" or is it a misprint?

Misprint.

Thought so. What motor do they use in a six-cylinder all-trac swap anyways?

That would be one helluva swap, a V6 AllTrac. If we're talking the MR-2 still, though, I would imagine they would use a 1mzfe...

Someone here on CTech did the V6Trac, and on MR2OC, they have a V6 forum

I knew someone did a V6 FWD Celica, but didn't know about any ATs. I figured there would be major issues trying to mate the v6 to the AWD tranny...

As far as I know he actually used a Rav-4 transmission. I think the thread is entitled "Doing the Impossible..." or something.

I should put an LS1 in my Green 92 Trac, it would probably be cheaper than rebuilding this engine....

No.

All the fabrication would be 10x the headache and cost.....

I believe the V6 ST185 [for technicalities sake it wasn't an Alltrac, it's in the UK] has a 1VZFE, not MZ.

The engine will bolt to the trans, its' the transfer case hitting the block that causes problems.
