This February 10th, Gainesville International Raceway has its monthly open track time.

I will be in attendance this weekend, I missed last months as I was not ready for it and needed a new Helmet, but I am prepared and 100% attending with a number of other friends.

The weather was great, the cars running were a wide variety and the Celica did great! I was continually catching people, Corvettes, Miata's, 240's, etc. Even my friend Daniel in his MR2 which has many years of AutoX experience.

Thanks Sean.. glad you like, I have a number of other pictures, but really.. its all the same thing, lots of green and an orange car haha.

I enjoyed it a lot, haven't been in nearly 2 years except to the Atlanta Motorspeedway this last September. Obviously though a speedway is a very different kind of track then a circuit coarse. March is the only month without a date and I have purchased all new bushings all the way around for the suspension, so its time to get to work. Then when April rolls around I should be in great shape.

booo.. so, got home and two things after this event...

1. My front drivers side tire was low, removed it, the inside wall was seperating. Not a big deal, I had new rears and I knew my old fronts were just about done. I have great tread wear and just wanted to get the max out of my tires. Cool.. no biggie, got two new tires.

2. Putting back on my front passenger side tire I noticed my wheel bearing has a LOT of slope after this event. Looks like I'll be removing the hub and getting a new bearing pressed in.

Kinda off topic trance but has your bodykit ever scraped the ground during hard corning. Is your car lowered?

Yes, the car is dropped on -1.75" Intrax springs. Also, no the kit has never scrapped due to hard cornering.
