cool...another question..anyone know about that C's short shifter?..does it reduce the height of the shifter as well as reducing the throw?..

I have the B&M short shifter in my '01 GT-S, and yes it loweres the height of your shifting knob and reduces the distance between the gates. It's a good modification IMO as it enables me to stay in lift from the 1-2 shift.

I have one and no it doesn't reduce the height, it's not a short shifter it's a short throw shifter. It actually has new bolts to raise the height of the shifter back to stock. I like it a lot compared to say a TWM because of the distance from the steering wheel to the shifter. Less distance = more time I can keep both hands on the wheel. Two hands = double the tactile sensation of one hand.

My TWM shifter sits down a little shorter then the stock one and the throw reduction is fantastic....definately no more rowing of the boat :)
