havnt found much except what i can see it that the celicas with a 4afe mmost likely came witha C52 and the 7af's definatly came w C52. the 7afe one is a little diffrent with the gearing and such and some poeple say its a little stronger

alot of the corolla forums poeple say they have a C50 for there 4afe (-92) and a C52 that is geard much like the 4afe C52 (93-98). the poeple on club4ag say the 4afe from a corolla is definatly a C50

i dont know if this is necessarily correct but i know that kragen lists the 4afe with a C50 transmission. so does my local junkyard. but its under corolla,St celicas are a sub catagory for it meaning that a C50 is either the stock part or replacment.
this would explain it alot if it were true. if its not then just more confused ppl like me :wtf:

I had a c52 on my stock celica. I swapped it with a jdm c52.

gear ratios. and strength. bellhousing (inside) differs but will interchange.

bacually it comes down to strength. most blutop 4age guys saw around under 200 WHP for C50 and over 200WHP for C52
