First of all thank you so much. My car is back up and running thanks to you and thanks to Joel's awesomeness. My total out of pocket expense, not including food, smokes, and beverages for my guest and me(damn did we smoke), was only about $400. Not to shabby considering how much parts and labor would have cost. I figure I saved around $2200. What comes around goes around, and I look forward to being back in the position to help others out when they need it too. The Dharma Wheel just works out that way.

As a small token of my appreciation, I would like to add an icon to your member info, much like Luni's Engine icon, that will show others that you went above and beyond in your care for this site and its members. When I tell people what happened here with my clutch, they don't believe it, and several have said something along the lines of wishing their <insert car model here> forum was like that. Maybe other members here that did not donate will be inspire to help out others the next time this happens.

Anyway, I know it is not much, but it is the best I can do for now. So, if you can please do me the favor of replying here to let me know that you donated, I would greatly appreciate it. The problem is that it is difficult to match paypal emails with Celicatech Member ID's, especially since their are differences with some of your paypal emails vs. your celicatech registration emails.

Thanks again guys. :Ban1:

PS. I had a problem getting the pictures to load and then had to transfer them to two other computers to get them where they needed to be. I am currently working on a write up of the experience. I know I still owe that much, but with the Holidays hitting when they did, and Joel and me finishing up a day before Christmas Eve, things got lost in the shuffle.

I did but it wasn't much, like 30 or 35 or something but I cant remember. Either way I didn't use paypal anyway. If Luni wrote that down he'll know a bit better than I will... I need to get better at that...

I would have donated a lot but I didn't really have much financially I could give but I did what I could.

My donation probably covered the cost of the ham and pinapple pizza that was supposedly getting ordered. If I'd known you'd just smoke it all away I may have reconsidered :nono:

jk. Glad it's all sorted out mang!

Ok I must have missed this story. $2600 clutch job??

I guess you missed the part where it was disclosed how expensive a new clutch kit, machining, all new synthetic fluids, misc parts, misc hours rehabbing stuff not included in a clutch job, and the 18 hours of book time labor on a mother f-ing All-trac costs a lot if you pay someone to do it, huh?

I didn't pull that number out of my ass. Stop shitting in my thread.

Play, i wish I could have helped out with you're problem back when it was still a problem, but unfortunately I was/am still in some serious debt (just about out of the serious bit :D)

It's things like this that make me glad to be a part (Albiet, very new part) of the Celica/Toyota universe. I'm glad things turned out for you man

Thanks man. I know how being in debt is. :owned: I have plenty of it right now that put me in my current position. It is the thought that counts, right? The fact that you see this as a great community and that you said what you said makes you a part of our family, no matter how new you are. It is the community of this site that matters. Our cars come in second oddly enough. :bigthumbu
