i like what youve done with the place

seriously I noticed you kept your GT4 mirrors black, very nice touch, brings the black carbon fiber look back towards the back end of the car. Do those fogs look the same as the ones in the 2nd (daylight pic), if so I dont think they look as good in the daylight as they do at night, nonetheless, the look you obtain at night is f'ing gorgeous so well worthit...

I agree, they still look good though.

I like the way they look at night, but not at day, to be honest.

Look like light output is very good on them, though.

Maybe you could somehow mount them a little farther back, then save up and do the Toyota Mesh kit on the bumper, so you can't see them during the day, yet still shine through pretty well at night?

The fact that the housing is so big, bugs me, but there's definitely worse things that i could be bugged about.

I'm with lavy on the mirrors, though. The black looks great. :)

Nice car. :)

thanks guyz for the comments.

actually the 1st and 2nd pic of the new fog lights installed were taken at the same time, for some reason the lighting on my camera phone messed up the shot...the fog lights are suppose to be amber color..like what u see in the 2nd pic...

the housing is actually not that big..just looks big cuz they're so bright..haha...
i'll try to take some better pics in the future.

Hahaha, ok. :)

That makes more sense, now.

Out of curiousity, any particular reason you didn't install them in the holes to the side of the bumper, and in the middle instead?

Or was it more just a "i've already got them there, i'll just replace" kinda thing?

the fog light is mounted on the stock crash bar...i could have mounted them in the holes to the side but that would mean mounting them on the bumper which i didn't want to do...

personally i think it looks kinda better in the middle then on the side....

if u want to know how it would look on the side you guyz should take a look at seans car but i guess it was the only place for him to mount it since he has that big front mount intercooler.

Yeah, i know how Sean's are mounted, i was just curious as to why you didn't do it that way, and now i know. :)

I'm trying to work out a way to get the stock ST184 fogs to work in an RC bumper. I know it's been done, it'll just take some custom brackets, but it looks badass when done. :)

Like Herman did.

If you get a bracket made before me, let me know. I am still curious as to how to mount them anyway. I know there is something on the bumper cover, is that what we are attaching it to, or the bumper reinforcement?

Yep, exactly. :) He was my inspiration for this. I don't think it would be that hard, to be honest... i have a couple friends that do fabrication and welding, and i'm sure if i got them a complete set of the fogs, they could fab up something. May not be pretty from the back, but who cares...

I'll get on it more when i get my RC bumper in probably late jan, early february. :)

I believe he actually attached it to the bumper cover, if i remember the thread correctly, which would REALLY make things easy.

Herman installed his to his intercooler. To quote him:

The fogs were from a 5th Gen Celica ST/GT. I had some custom brackets (one per side) made that bolts the fog to the bottom of the IC, the other side of the fog, a good old zip-tie. The brackets don't line up to anything so you can't use the stock mounting points, thus the bracket. When you get a set and line the lamps up, you'll see how and what you will probably need to do.

I have an RC bumper and just waiting for my seller (CUCelica) to have time to send me mine, then I will find out how it works. Will you be using the RC bumper reinforcement as well?

If it'll fit with my gargantuan intercooler. :P

I was going to do that, but I will pass. 1, I wanted driving lights, not fog lights. Two, you'll never get the output and display that the PIAA's aftermarket driving lights will offer you.
