If anybuddy knows whats worng with me car please help. I have a 85 celica.
What it's doing is, wile your driveing for a little bit the car goes back in forth like your really bad at shifting. Witch is not the case. but when you turn the car off and then back on, it's fine for a little bit then does it again, tell you turn it off and back on.

parts that have been replaced
Fuel Filter
coil
wires and plugs
Throttle position sensor

Nothing has fixed the problum.
Need Help, If anybuddy knows what might be going on please tell me.

thanks, Brandon

maybe its your clutch slipping?..

coolant low can cause this, among other things.

My guess, clutch slipping. You possibly need a new clutch/flywheel. Also, check the motor mounts (and your spelling).

Is it losing oil? It's also possible your rear main seal is leaking oil onto the clutch...

alright u have a 22re, mine has been doing this as well

i just fixed my issue yesterday

1 of 3 things have happened

your tps sensor took a dump, u can temp fix it mines been working good so far (month) fixy tps here (http://www.celica-gts.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=9132)

u need a tune up

if neither one of those fixed it your egr took a crap, which happened to me yesterday, replace this or if your state does not have emmitions, fab up some egr black off plates

to tell if its the egr easily unhook the 2 rubber lines running to the egr and plug them with skrews or something, if bucking goes away then u know what it is
