Because some ass decided to spill blue paint in the parking lot of a local mall i work at on the weekends, i had to remove a bunch of housepaint off my car and do a good detail. and since i had yesterday off (first day off in awhile) i figured i should do a really good detail before winter comes.

So i bought a meguiars claybar kit and some of their deep crystal wash. then finished it off with some waxasudry. what do you guys think?

My New Twin-tip Exhaust

My New gauge set up (It needs to be striped ,reprimered, wet sanded, and painted, but it looks sick)

Heres a close up on the boost gauge pod.
It was done by a guy on AWDpirates.net who did a beautiful job welding the two peices together and filling the whole thing by hand.

Hey that looks great!

Stop off at an auto parts store and buy some of that NXT Tire Shine. It's in an aerosol can and is the best I have ever used. It does cost like $6 though....but the effects last a while.

Did said "ass" at least pay for some, or leave a note or something? Looks great though.

no. there was a big line of paint in the parking lot, probably from someone in a pickup pouring it out the back. i never saw the guy, but when my car ran over the line of paint while it was fresh, it got all over the tires and spun off onto the inside of my fenders and the side of the car. since i didn't really care about the inside fenders (they will sand blast themselves with they lay down gravel this winter) but i wasn't about to have streaks of blue all over my door panels.

Plus, the claybar helped remove some other mud and dirt stains that my car was developing. I need to get the paint stripped, repainted, and clear bra'd, but to do that would cost too much right now. i figured ill find a CS hood and bumper too, so i'll probably do all that when i get those.

How big are your exhaust tips on that muffler and what muffler is it? I got dual tips as well, but mine are big, so it is still loud. Maybe I need a turbo to quiet it down a bit.

Its a HKS 2.5" twin tip exhaust. im actually very impressed and i like the sound, a bit deeper, and it makes the top end a lot nicer. i really didn't want the big single tip exhaust cause its give people the impression that the car is just like any other civic with a can.
