Hi guys

I currently have the front clip of celica containing the 3sgte-RC edition engine JDM. Im hoping to swap it into my 90 GT-hatch. The problem is the radiator of the front clip is broken and cannot be used. My question is, "is it possible to rig the radiator in my 90 GT to work with the liquid/air intercooler of the 3s? Im hoping i can because finding an RC radiator is gonna be really really hard. Thanks alot. Also do u think just a regular all-trac radiator replacement might work as well?

I'm guessing you're talking about the Heat Exchanger for the Water to Air intercooler right? The "radiator" for the intercooler, not your engine radiator... if so then you can get a heat exhanger for certain years of the Ford SVT Lightning truck or I believe the other one was a Ford SVT Cobra (same heat exhanger).

RCs are the Rally Homolagation models for the WRC and the special models are the Carlos Sainz edition which is named after the dominant driver of the said ST185RC.

Edit: PS the CS editions also had a little signed plaque of Carlos Sainz.

Well i havent actually seen the clip yet, its still in the process of delivery....but in the description of the clip he mentions that "the radiator is leaking and needs to be replaced." I overlooked this little setback because the fact of owning an RC clip was too tempting to pass up....If perhaps it is the radiator for the engine and not the "radiator" for the turbo then would i have to find an RC radiator or will the one in m 1990 GT work?

Yes the radiator in your GT will work just fine but you might want to think about just picking up an Alltrac radiator I'm not sure but I believe they've got a larger capacity radiator.

yeah its larger, not sure how much more it holds but its a really good idea to have it... a turbo engine needs more cooling its that simple.

The Alltrac and GTS had the same size radiators.
