wtf fools?

why the truck doing this?

could be a clogged up converter. it is also possible that you got ahold of some poorly refined gas with a high sulfer content. it has happened to me before. after i burned all the gas up and got a fresh tank the smell went away.

running to rich also makes converters unhappy.

^yes, a bad tank of gas w a already on its way out cat will make it smell like sulfer do you have honeycomb (pltuim) type or no? if you have platinum id say yes its gas w alot of methane and water in it, when its burned it gives off a sweet sulfery smell in the cat

yea its probably alot of methane and water in your gas, throw a gallon juge of toulene and 4oz of marvel mystery oil in and youll notice a HUGE diffrence

Im cutting the cats off this weekend.

aint toulene just that iso heat stuff?

Toulene is paint thinner basically.

And it will raise the octane of your gas.
To a point.
It's still better to run actual higher octane gas.

^yea, but its also a good agent when u get a shitty tank of gas, mjust make suer u use at least 4oz of marvel mystery oil, toulene/xylene is coroosive to rubber breaklines (i used 2 gallons of xylene/toulene at races at least 5 times and have never had problems, just recently started using hte marvle mystery oil

the only problem is toulene is expensive i get it for around $8 a gallon, but its essentially 115 moctane

10 gallons of 91 octane= 910
2 gallons of 115 octane=230

1140/12 = 95 octane

but i used it when i only had 5 gallons of gas, so i had about 100 octane at the track, ive used it 2 or 3 times on a bad tank of gas and does wonders

it's also pretty damn toxic so be careful with it!

ah yes.. ive used that stuff at work now that i think of it.

Well i turned my chip down so i can run regular gas. :hehe:
