seeing as i orginally got the gts as a project car, when i start working again (hopefully by the end of the year), im looking at these 4 cars, but more so these 3

in order:

95-01 scooby impreza 2dr 5speed, i want a 2.5 rs but ill take the 2.2, and they are cheap to mod, parts are easy to come by

89-94 toyota truck 2wd auto extra cab, cruise and haul shit mobile, 22re powered and they last forever

92-93 240sx se, i could go get one right now but its 2500 with well over 200k on the odo

92-96 camry, cruiser, i had a 93, i liked it , should have kept the damn thing cause its still going with over 300k

i would have to say, "go with the truck!" i have a 90 toyota pu and i mainly use it as a wheelbarrow around the house. plus it is good to have a truck so that you can haul crap around. that 22r is indestructable.

as a mechanic newer doesn't always mean reliable

only thing i could afford newer that isnt a domestic or a dsm is another hyundai, still debating a newer tiburon but u guys hate those things

oh and all the things mentioned above ive seen over 300k miles

i would have said Imprez, but i didn't know whats wat a scooby is. :hehe: im a n00b.

oh BTW, if i were you and lookin for a tibby, i would go 7th gen gts. But theres lotsa 7th gen haters. 4 cylinder=good gas mileage (when needed)

camry for the win...alot of space, comfortable, and can't go wrong with the 5sfe..they last forever.

no 7th gen celica

they have been proven to be the least reliable celica out of all the generations

on paper and from personal experience (i worked at toyota)

tibs just have sunroof issues, oh and the v6 blows up if u turbo it, but u can s/c it for years, i dont understand that about em

my tib was great :wiggle:

yeah its come from a list of 25 cars down to these 4

im liking the idea of a truck but i want awd

I say truck...you already have the 3rd gen to cruise around in if need be. Otherwise the Camry if you want some more room for peeps.

4runner? Best of all three worlds. Plus, you can get them with the 22re you so revere. :hehe:

they dont handel all that well and the 22re trucks arent bad but 4runners are slower than a 4af corolla, yes 4af

v6 4runner FTW? Gotta make some compromises if you want everything. :hehe:

The V6's in the 4 runners are absolute piles of shat... like you wouldn't believe.

I'd say 22RE pickup.
