I read an article once about a guy that lost his truck one year when it went throught the ice on a river. they found it 10 months later about 2 miles down river and recovered it. after flushing the engine and all the drive train it started and ran perfect! His grandson was still driving the truck 3 years later when the article was published.

wrong, the reason that truck is still going is because of the stuff in the truck

1. Its diesel
2. is a basic no power option truck

because its diesel there are no spark plugs or distributor and its an older truck, there is no fuel injection computer to burn out.
