Just kindof a basic overview of what was out, and some of the cars. Was a great time, but there was not a single celica racing. :( I wasn't aware they were doing bracket racing, or i would have done that.

Ah well.

Chang (the GT) will be out next year, and it'd be cool if some of you other guys in the surround states could come on out. :)

LOL... i forgot we had deemed that that's what that meant, rather than "individual throttle bodies," or in this case, "Import and Truck Bash."

It's at IRP/O'Reilly Racepark.

I know it's day-trippable for you, so come out next year, damnit. You can run in the awd class. Will you have your GT28 by then?

The dude that won AWD this year... his car was retarded amounts of fast. He couldn't hook, even with drag radials, and he was going sideways in 2nd. I guess running alchohol does more than just smell pretty?

Even with the GT28RS, I wouldn't stand a chance against a DSM with a 20G or better. The GT28RS offers power everywhere in the rpm range at the expense of lots power in a burst\ like a GT30 or GT35 amongst many others.

Eh, i'm not going to stand a chance in my class, either. It's just fun. :) There were a couple this year in the 11s i think, and i won't be able to touch that.

I'm sure you wouldn't be the slowest in your class. And if that's not your thing, then do the bracket racing. There were a lot of stock cars there this year.

Maybe next year. I have more work to do before I risk another engine. Looks like fun though.
