I purchased a 1993 Celica GT Coupe that I'm using on the road courses for HPDE sessions. I want to ensure it has a Limited Slip Differential (LSD). Does it come stock with an LSD? If not, does TRD offer a LSD for this make/model/year? Part number? Thanks! :)

no. the transmission code in your car is a s53. They never came factory with a lsd differential. You can go aftermarket and buy a lsd diff if you would like. But unfortunately install is not always fun :D.

Here ya' go (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LSD-TRD-Toyota-MR2-Celica-Camary-N-A_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33731QQihZ005QQitemZ1 50020855748QQrdZ1)

It's already finished, and I'm not sure it's legit (new seller), but you can always contact him and see if he still has it.

Thanks for the info. I didn't think it had an LSD, but had to check. I talked to a local Toyota dealership that sells TRD parts and they gave me the following part number for a complete LSD carrier assembly for the '93 GT Coupe: #41110-20370. The TRD part number #41301-ST804 is for the internal LSD mechanism that reside in the carrier assembly - I believe. The complete LSD carrier assembly is approx. $2000, while the internal LSD component (only) is approx. $1000, which requires significantly more labor to install.

I think he has you mixed up with a E153 trans which is on a mr2 turbo.
