Pretty kick ass looking.. although it seems to have the same old features as before.. was hoping it would have more monitoring features.

Anyway, wondering if the VTEC control function could be used to control the TVIS?

Vtec is electric engaged. The Tvis is vacuum engaged. I don't think it'd be possible. Looks pretty nifty though.

Tvis is electric engaged too. Something has to tell that thing to open at 4200 rpm. People have already used MSD Window switches to control tvis engagement. Im sure you could use this thing to do it too.

But Pun, why?

SAFCs are the devil on a 3SGTE. Theyre not that great of tuning devices unless you can realtime datalog timing and knock and all that shit like a DSM which we cant.

Leave the SAFCs for DSMs and 3SI owners.

Well, I wasn't planning on using it for tuning fuel... I was more interested in using it instead of a slew of gauges.. but unfortunately there is nothing new about it except it's display.

Would be neat to use it for the TVIS.. but.. once again.. paying 300 fricken dollars for a TVIS controller... lol

Dont you f00z listen?

You cant just "tune fuel" on an SAFC cause you fuck your timing up by tuning fuel.

Yea I understand that.. which is why I'd never buy one to "tune" my engine..
