ok . . . its that time of the year again for the emmisions test and inspection.

does anyone have suggestions for some things to do to pass emissions, basic repair things that should be taken care of?

I live in PA, and you have to pay like 60 bucks for the test and leave you your care there, so i don't feel like having any PITA experiences this year.

So any suggestions on some stuff to check out would be great.

well if you've taken care of the car itself through basic maintenace you shouldn't have any issues. So far my numbers are the same when i bought my car 4 years ago. I use good sythetic fluids, z-Max engine treatment and fuel treatment (to get rid of carbon after every oil change). Engine runs like new all the time.

But with emmisions and expections you should look at:
Exhaust system
Emmision system
struts (for cracks, wear, etc)
any really rusty parts that are about to break
Ball joints

Mostly your suspension system and engine systems. good Luck man.
