take my word on it from first hand experience, DONT BUY EBAY CRAP LIKE THAT IT WILL BREAK, BUY NOTHING THAT INVOLVES WELDING, OR ANY TYPE OF O RING OR SEAL UNLESS ITS A REAL NAME BRAND PRODUCT AND THEY HAVE A GOOD REP, i cant count how many countless times ive had to re weld shit for freidns or myself that was bought on ebay, not to mention half the turbos on there gasket are made with one from plumbing supply places that dont fit right, do the right thing and spend the exrta money, youll end up PYAING LESS IN THE LONG RUN

To answer your question, yes, it will work (provided the 10 year old chinese girl who made it did a good job). If you were to get one, I would have someone you know and trust to go over the welds, even add some braces on there.

I agree with the "do it right the first time, as it will be the cheapest in the long run." You should also think of the people out there that design, fabricate and weld their on products, and do it for a living. I would try to promote business with them, before going to some off-shored chinese garbage.

Don't worry if someone's talking about your car, let them. I understand wanting to be faster (I do too, I'm partially debating a 3sgte vs. turbo 5sfe) but don't do it just to one-up this kid, not worth it. There'll always be someone who's faster. If you're happy with your car, then don't turbo it just to prove a point to this guy.

And in any case, even though my Celica isn't the fastest on the road, I've take it over this thing when it comes to looks, anyways.

Also, ask him how many WRC championships the Cobalt holds.

read the damn stickies. Ct26 will work with the manifold. You'll need and adapter and such for a t3 turbo.

That manifold will bolt to the head, and a ct26 will work just fine.

thanks for all the help so far im doing this just to make my car faster and i will also be proving my point about his $12,000 cobalt and my 1,000 celica which since i bought it i have put only 900 into(did everything myself)and did a professional paint job have a system, body kit, rims and low pros but this car is my hobby so ill always be dumping money into it. now i didnt look around for this but what are some differances or advantage/dissadvantage between the ct26 and a t3 turbo
thanks again Dan

Ditch the bodykit/rims/low pros, because they do nothing for you. No wonder he's talking shit about how his stock cobalt can beat you. The CT26 is basically a large T3 turbo, so just go with the ct26.

You seem to be looking in all the wrong places to turbo your celica. There is already a platform out there that couldn't be any more simple, just compile all the parts off 3sgte and there you have it.
If you are looking for parts to turbo your 5sfte
