I was just search autotrader.ca to see what was available when I stumbled across this:

http://www.trader.ca/Search/Details.asp?mknm=768&Region=-1&subcategory=&CAT=1

So I emailed the guy and here is what he emailed me back:

"Hello there,
I know that you have many choices on Autotrader and I appreciate that you have contacted me.
My location is London, UK and the car is being shipped from here by FedEx(all shipping taxes are included in price). The car is an US model with US specs (mph) and I cannot register it here. So I am trying to sell it as low as I can to complete the sale fast. Although I am registered in the US, but I am permanently reside in London (where my family is from)..
The car is in perfect cosmetic and engine condition, and meticulously maintained. No damage, no hidden defects, never been into accidents or car race, and it is ready for run now. The car has clear title (in my hands) and it is free of encumbrances and liens. You will get from me the keys and all documents to register it in the state, and also bill of sale in your name and signed by me.You will have to pay the money for the car just when is delivered. The total cost of the car will be only $4,500 , with all taxes included .The payment must be done through a third party. They will hold the money until you will receive the car. After you will receive tha car you will have 10 days to inspect it.If you will accept it they will send me the money if not,you will have 3 days to shipp it back. All the taxes will be payed by them from my safe account, and the moment I will have the tracking number of the car you will get complete refund. I hope that you will understand my situation. If you agree with these terms, please reply me and I will be more than glad to provide you with further information how to purchase the car asap.
Hope to hear from you soon!
Thanks"

Now with that being said my guess to ship it from the UK would be atleast $4500 maybe more, seeing as how my Dad just got a machine shipped up here from Cali, and it was $1000.
Just wondering if anyone else has ever run across fishy sales like this before?

Your interest in this is the exact reason why these scams continue. Luckily you were smart enough to research it.

Remember... if it is too good to be true, it probably is.

I was kind of playing along and as soon as I started to ask questions the person was like: "I don't sell to people who believe this is a scam, goodbye!"
haha

This almost happened to me with a laptop many years ago.. the person was in the ukraine... They gave me this tracking number to this weird ass supposedly a "postal" site.. and it was like this real tracking system that they setup.. in a way.. it just said it was at one location all the time basically.. lol.. it was so pathetic.

The law is so horrible outside of the USA.. what I mean by that is if you get scammed by someone in europe.. you're screwed.. don't even consider you will get your money back at all.

scam... I wouldn't buy a car unless I met the seller face to face and was able to examine it before buying it.

Here is one of the guys:

georgetoress1211@googlemail.com

here is the email he sent back to me:

Hi,
I'm very glad that I see you're interested for my car. The car is still available for
sale and the reserve price I hope to obtain for this beauty is $9500 CND.The car is in
perfect condition of working, like. The engine, drive train, & equipment are all in
proper working order. The ride is smooth; there are no shakes or pulls in the steering.
Interior, well kept. Exterior: no dents, no scratches. I really take good care of my car
and I assure you will have no complains. If you really want to buy this car e-mail me and
I will send you more details about the car and the deal.
Have a nice day!
P.S. The mileage and the transmision from the ad it was a misprint.
The car has 77000 an is automatic.

After I asked some questions he never responded. But he lived in Canada I think.

Here is the guy in the UK:
supra@lifebook69.com
He responds with a different email address though. I say everyone does this:
Send him an email the first time being serious, just play along. Then just rip him apart in the 2nd one and see if he replies. It will be funny if he has requests coming in from like 50 different people at once, then post the reply and see if it's the same thing they sent to me. Ahh this will be great if you guys follow through

here is the 2nd email he sent back to me:

Hi,
I want to apologize because I had some problems at my office and I couldn't check my e-mails lately.
I am from Huston,Texas,USA.
In order for both parts to be safe we will use Best Shipping World ( www.bestshippingworld.com), to make this deal because I am affiliate at this company and I have a $20.000 USD protection account and it is an escrow-type shipping company which also manages the payment.
The car is at the shipping company in Texas,USA in a sealed container ready to be shipped and all the shipping taxes are already paid by me.
If you have other questions, e-mail me back.
Regards.

I'm going to try the, I will come and pick it up line.....keep you updated
