there isn't to much info off of this site or any for that matter.
the 2.5 is plenty unless the 3.0 is no different (as in won't take anymore parts and fab.)
Is just the rear motor mount differernt (closest to the firewall).
Im guessing that i will have to get a gt trans crossmember, shifter cables and of course tranny (unless the camry is better as in posi?)

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Steve

You want to do the same swap as Adrien? or a different motor? It basically would be the same idea as Adrien's swap.

i called about 4 local shops. 3 said $6 to 7000 range..hahaha.
1 said that they were going to sit down and have a talk about it, and that it would be a deep decounted price as they would learn from it, plus have a 6th gen celica with a v6, i don't think there is one yet, so it would be the first, very good for them..well see

That shop seems like a reasonable place.... It's always refreshing to find places like that.

At the same time, make sure the experimenting doesn't end up at your expense ;)

Everything except the engine (which ill supply) will be around $1500...

now which engine and trans to find? he wanted a obd1 harness..
And what else will i have to supply (axles, mounts and such..)

Thanks

K did some reasearching, Looks like i want to find a solara trans and even engine. Now do i need the gt-4 cross member? or just a gt to fit the trans? i know i need the st205 mounts...so i read.Would i be better off getting a gt trans and related stuff? its going to stay stock...well a trd supercharger would be very nice.

Any help would be great!

This is an old thread but, Steve are you talking about CFP? Sean is the guy you spoke to? If it is that is a very reputable shop and Its the only place I would trust my ST185 with.
