Must've been weird to see another car on the course while you were racing. I've never had to and even seeing it in the video seemed a little abnormal. Seem like a fun and rather challenging course besides that.

Edit: BTW where did you mount the camera? Do you have to drill holes or anything to get it in there?

See, thats why i refuse to auto x.

I know for certain I would get lost and end up just driving aimlessly throughout the course.

Lol same here, you have to really know where your going.

That's why you walk the course as many times as time allows before the autocross starts. It's really not that bad.

Lookin good

We had one novice driver go straight instead of turn at that last 180 was like the 2nd run of the morning and the guy almost t-bones another car... could have been REALLY REALLY bad... Novices = need codriver.

Edit: as for the camera it's a little pocket camera that's about 5 x 4 x like .5 wide. We just ziptied it to the rearview mirror.

At the clubs I race with we don't let first timers go out on their own the first time. I've seen plenty of instances where the novices going out solo go off course and nearly cause an accident as well.

yeah, it was an SSSCC event (sand and sage sports car club) if the name doesn't tell ya, that place is in the sticks... not SCCA or a larger organization.
