Tsk Tsk celica noob.

The GT-R is the same thing as the Alltrac. It was known as the GT-R out of the US (Japan, New Zeland, Aussie, etc). Read up foo!

Nice Alltrac/GT-R whatever you feel like calling it. Looks clean. I still yet have to experiance the luxary of driving one.

errrr, Your not serious are you ???

...

Celica GTR is a 3SGE powered celica, 2lt version, with around 160 - 165bhp. Its the import model from Japan, so places like NZ, some in the UK, and of course Japan got them.

the GT-Four is what what the Jap model of the alltrac was called. However, some guy has stuck an alltrac badge on mine to be different, as they normally say "GT-Four" instead of "turbo Alltrac".

Read up fool :P

GT-R also had All Wheel Steering.

All wheel steering, all wheel drive, easy to confuse, huh? lol

yea 4ws (all wheel steering). Sort of counters the SHOCKING turning circle that most celicas are renound for, it is said, that it rivals an oil tankers turning circle :P

Muhahaha

Nice car man, that's a good price for a GT-4! (Trademe has them usually more than that, and I paid a LOT more for mine).

That alltrac badging's gonna confuse someone :p

Might see you on the road sometime if I ever head across Cook Straight :D

There's supposed to be a place in Palmerston North that can get them, but I haven't got there yet due to a desperate lack of funds. I'll check them out for ya and let you know :)

The other choice we could probably get hold of are TEIN coilovers, which anywhere seems to be able to get nowdays with the driftoro craze, but I don't think they'd suit our roads (too stiff). You'd also have to wade through the whole "get it certed" thing, so 350-odd dollars more which I'd rather not spend.

Well, typically if I need to make a sharp turn I'll just turn wheel slightly, hammer the gas and then whip the wheel to full lock to make the back end whip out.. using ebrake if needed.. it works rather well.. :)
