I was just wondering, I've noticed the other day that my gas pedal has some freeplay in it. Maybe about a centimeter or two... How do I make the gas pedal tighter? Will this make an effect on the response of the throttle at all? Maybe I have to tighten the throttle cable, I dont know.

i have exactly the same thing
i have some freeplay in my brake and gas pedals
with the brakes, the rear doesnt light up until i put pressure on it, like actually depressing the pedal with some force
with the gas, i think it is still repsonsive when i lightly tap it with little or no pressure

i dont know if this is a problem or these cars are just made like this

Just adjust it with the throttle cable. Generally can up by the throttle body. My dad did this for me.. I watch, something like that... I'm not too sure, but yeah, the throttle cable has slack.

The throttle cable should have two nuts that you can loosen and adjust it to tighten it up. You can find them right on the bracket where the throttle cable bolts up to the intake manifold. Don't make it too tight or it will raise your idle.
