Hey all. My spring break is this up coming week. I would like to share my project with everyone. I'll start on it on Monday and go on until this summer. I will start by sanding the other half then maybe on the weekend I'll start painting it either black or red. Right now it's just a shell with a blown motor (if anyone needs any engine thing, let me know). It's in excellent shape considering its age. NO rust whatsoever. The undercarriage is beautiful. The previous owner must be very gentle to the celica. It has an Invader rear and sideskirt molded on very nicely and smoothly. The front bumper I kinda damage when I towed it home. I'll probably get a CS or RC bumpe and add a custom lip to it. On Tuesday I will remove everything from the engine and start sanding it. I'll also remove the taillights and other small parts that will get in the way while painting. I already have a 3s-gte in my buddy's shop waiting. I dont know wether I'll swap the 3s into the 92 celica GT-S or my 95 Celica GT. I haven't made up my mind but if I do put it into my 95 GT then the 98 5sfe will go into the 92 GTS. Well, I've saved up 5K for this celica and mines. Hope it is worth all of it. Well as my progress start, I will keep yall posted. I just want to share my experience with everyone (if yall don't mind). Enjoy :bigthumbu

Okay today I went to the junkyard. They just pulled up a red 93 GT but the only thing I pulled was the hatch. It took me about 30 minutes to pull that thing by myself. My GTS's hatch is ugly because theres no wiper and I thought it wasn't sporty. So my new hatch is red and I will have to start sanding it. The hatch is in great condition. Also I'm going back to the junkyard to pull the 93 GT foglights. The fogs were in very nice condition. Sorry I didn't start sanding today as planned but maybe tomorrow or wedsday. Okay guys here are some pics of my car (s). It's been partially sanded. Enjoy!

Here's my sideskirt molded on.

Here's my original hatch. It's ugly because I sanded it wrong last time around. As you can see, no wiper. UGLY. I don't have pics of the new hatch yet but tomorrow.

haha you can have em' andy. Okay today I went back to the junkyard to pick up my hatch and boy was I happy. In fact I was so happy I went back into the junkyard to dig myself 2 rear speaker covers, glove box w/ speaker still intact, rear panel license plate, and two great foglights. Boy it took me about a good hour to get all these parts out. I'll post pics later. Also if I can find my sanding papers I'll sand my hatch today!...Enjoy

sweet find, 5th gen junkers are sorta rare to find in the junk yard around here. tons of 3rd gens. which is good cause i blew the rear diff the other day and the entire rear end is 60 bucks, hahha sweet action. later

OK. Today I was feeling a little sick so I didn't do much to the car. My plan was to start sanding but stupid sickness just took over my body. The only thing I did was take out the glove box and took a few pics. Enjoy these pictures.

*Andy keep us posted when you start man!

Here's my new glove box w/speaker. Very nice and clean!

One thing you will notice is that it has a "GT" badge and not a "GTS"...ahaha yeah but I'll buy the newer celica's "GT-S" badge to replace it. Thanks
